Beyond Curricula
This website is the spin-off of our talk, Beyond Curricula, aimed at teachers and parents who are trying to fill the gaps in their conversation skills. We use Kenny G's "Auld Lang Syne (The Millenium Mix)" as a springboard for discussion about the need to learn more than any revisionist curricula can teach. Not to learn a lot about any one thing, mind you. Just enough to be interested, as well as interesting, in a variety of ways. This website allows participants to go through the self-improvement study at their own pace and serves as a template for constructing your own unit studies.
